97B short assault rifle is one of the world’s lightest and shortest rifles. It is equipped to special operation forces, the armed helicopter operators, and guarders for important members of government. It is especially easy to carry and operate in the tight space like indoor, or inside a vehicle.
Inheriting all the merits of type 97 gun family, the 97B is featured for its excellent tactical performance, high accuracy, strong power, compact size, light weight and ready sight function. The most remarkable feature of this gun is the design of its muzzle device. The front part of the device is a trumpet flash suppressor, while the rear part is a thick cylinder design. It functions as a muzzle brake and reduces the problem of large flame & loud noise when firing with a shorter barrel.
