FN company’s point of view is that the steel magazine is heavier than the aluminum one, but it is no doubt more solid and durable. So the MK 16 SCAR-L rifle will adopt the steel magazine. For the same reason, RS also released the M16 steel magazine.
The M16 300rds steel magazine, released by RS, with a high capacity, adopts the same material and surface finish as real steel.
It is solid and lacquer free, and compatible with most other brands of M16 series AEG.
