All along, in the airsoft gun fields, there are all kinds of airsoft guns from America, Russia, and Germany. But there are still no airsoft products for China guns. This is really a pity to the wargame players and weapon collectors.

In the fifty-year development of China small arms, from type 56 to type 97, China went across the period of imitating to designing on their own. In order to fill the airsoft blanks and bring wargame players pleasure of China weapon, RS devoted to developing and manufacturing the brand new airsoft guns. Finally we made it and the release of these AEG is the first pleasure which RS share with the airsofters worldwide. To celebrate and memorize this exciting and special time, “RS 2007, Year of China Airsoft” was created.

In the spring of 2007, for the “RS 2007, Year of China Airsoft”, type 97, type 56 and type 56-1 AEG are the first release. The upcoming airsoft guns will be 97B carbine, type 81-1 assault rifle and type 97 sniper rifle.
